Ogden Debt Repayment Plan Lawyers
For people who have too much income to qualify for Chapter 7 bankruptcy or for people whose primary goal is keeping a home or other vested asset, Chapter 13 bankruptcy is the best way to eliminate debt and get back on track.

What Is Chapter 13?
Unlike Chapter 7, which focuses on liquidation and typically lasts three to five months, Chapter 13 consists of a three to five year payment plan. You must have regular income to qualify and there will be a minimum monthly payment of $50 per month. Throughout the payment plan period, you will not be able to incur new debt without obtaining court permission.
Like Chapter 7, filing for Chapter 13 will stop wage garnishments and put an end to harassment from creditors. Additionally, it can prevent the foreclosure of your home and, in some cases, completely wipe out a second mortgage. Our attorneys have extensive experience with Chapter 13 bankruptcy.
